I wanted to call her Elle but my wife prefer Fay, which is what I wanted to as well. She's grown long hair now, we can do a ponytail with it. And she babbles a lot....with the muncung2 and all. I bet she's gonna be speaking kiwi in no time when we send her to daycare soon.

Gambar buah

PYO cherries. It's that time of the year when you get to pick your own cherries at the nearby farms. They go as cheap as 8 dollars per big bag....which is lot more cherries than I've eaten my whole life. I used to dislike cherries, but after tasting one of these juicy plump succulent God's creation.....I fell in love

Meja makan

Meja makan beli kat garage sale. 50 dollars. 6 seater, tapi dua lagi kena repair (gam balik). meja dia expandable. Atas meja tu pizza homemade. Senang je nak buat pizza kalau ada oven.

Elfayra Raihanah

Fay merenung jauh teringatkan kampung halaman. She's pretty much settled here for the time being. Next year we're going to send her to daycare. She haven't had any experience being away from us yet, unlike Radhi who's been at play school back home. Don't you just wanna nibble at those plump toes of her??...heheh. She's been eating very well since we got here. Eats almost everything we gave her.

This is in the city centre, next to the avon river. This is the first time we went to the city since we first landed in Chch. It was actually cool weather, but my two kids selamba je, makan aiskrim lagi. Mak bapak diorang yang terkulat2 sejuk. City centre not too bad, more or less like kuala terengganu je.......seriously......no seriously. But much cleaner of course, and more scenic with all the flowers and stuff. After 3 weeks here, my level of awe has gradually decreased from "wow!!".......to "oh". Maybe in the next two weeks it will become a "hmm" . But come autumn then it's a different cycle again......heheh. So far the weather (weather report essential here) has been like a roller coaster, one time its so cold your limbs froze, then next 8 hours or so it's so hot you get sunburned.....really.....no really!

Slides in New Zealand are very very tall. But somehow it only took Radhi a couple of minutes to get used to it. Today we cooked tomyam, bought frozen shrimp at the market. Takde la nak jumpa fresh ones at the market like back home. Boleh tahan jugak rasa dia, took the lemon from our yard to make it more masam.
